Molina: pinch-hit, walk-off ground rule double to win 1-0! Giants celebrate at 2nd base. Thank you, Bengie!
Today I bought an EcoFlow showerhead and shopped with Mom using canvas grocery bags. Small Earth Day observances.

One of the things I'm joyfully rediscovering about the burbs: when I walk out the door of an evening, the feel of grass under bare feet...
Hmm, yeah, Survivor. I think I watched a first-season episode. I tried to get interested in Lost, but that was a non-starter.
Reading about Simon Cowell in today's NYT, I remembered another of my Large Pop Culture Gaps: I've never seen an episode of American Idol.

Last night in Baghdad-by-the-Bay, in the streets post-JWeir party, it was still 70+. This morning, it's still 70+ and heading to the 80s...

Going to see Joanne Weir at Tres Agaves. She's written a book about tequila drinks! Tequila tasting, anyone?

Further amazing revelation: I have never seen the video for Michael Jackson's song called 'Thriller.'
Embarrassing pop culture gap: I doubt that I have ever heard, nor could I identify, a single song by the band called Phish.

Tonight I'm shooting 'One Night Only' at Club Fugazi. It benefits Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Yay!
This week is neighborhood clean-up. In Novato, that means we can put out 14 bags of extra garbage to be taken 'away.' (Sorry, Butterfly!)

Watching the Lepage production of La Damnation De Faust. Now there's some Easter entertainment. Despair! Damnation! Redemption!

I was feeling mopey about everything. It's all a struggle. I'm tired of the struggle. Then I thought, Hey, stop struggling! (And it worked.)
The day begins with awareness that I have slept through the night, forgotten my dreams, and must now wake up fully in order to make coffee.

Or a novel. Could you write a novel based on status updates? Say, what's the difference between 'status update' and 'microblog', anyway?
I went to yoga class this morning and had one of those magic, revelatory moments where my body made sense.
I'm writing an agenda for a meeting. Seriously, planning a meeting. What kind of person does that, anyway?

Viewed from a browser or phone, the world can seem remote. Yet there is war, piracy, and kidnaping of journalists. I have to remember that.
The second Golden Room test was a happy thing! I'm diggin' the world of online video conferencing...
I'm doing some heavy social networking now. Twitter, Facebook, Bebo, Plurk, MySpace, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Identica, Brightkite, Friendfeed...

It's nice to go to bed having had a little work and a little fun. And the Giants won. Woo-hoo! (Thanks, Marlowe.)
Gorgeous Spring shower. Successful test of Golden Room. Bike ride in the wetlands. Dinner with Mom. It's a rough life...
