Reading the Sunday NYT in the evening is odd, but still great. But I go straight to the book reviews instead of the news...

My pal Farai Chideya has a new novel and is on book tour! Yay, Farai! http://ping.fm/KGdOm
Finished reading the book. So, yeah, I'm an even bigger fan of Elizabeth Gilbert than I was before. Which was pretty big. She's amazing.

I've moved all work-stuff into my work-stuff-place. Or rather, I have caused it to be moved. Now if I could cause it to organize itself.

I am shocked by Mom's continuing willingness to let me stir-fry. This evening, I'm even stir-frying for her brother and sister-in-law...

I'm at Filbert Street. It's quiet here, and the artful expansiveness of Kent's loft inspires creative contemplation and good work.

I am going to treat myself to a new drill bit holder. That's all there is to it. One with a snug fit and a nice magnetic quality. Yay!

So, yeah - the Trek movie is delightful. I will see it again. Hey Mark, how about that April Webster? This is an Artios nom, I think!

What you may not know about me: in '94 I worked for Paramount on Star Trek while they were royally fucking it up. Today: redemption!
I'm going to dash out the door to see Star Trek. Really, it's taken too long to get out to see it, considering my Trek credentials...
I drank about eight times more than the recommended serving of 'Green Envy Daily Detox.' I feel great!
Perhaps you don't know, but I play softball on Tuesday nights. This last contest was a 9-8 loss. Which, frankly, I considered a victory.

I've been looking at Bruce Greenwood for two days. He's really quite handsome. Where is Jeffrey Hunter, anyway?

I opened a bank account just down the street, where Mom was a teller until 1960. "We balanced to the penny," Mom says, "or we stayed late."
Comcast has 'upgraded' my kitchen TV from 16x9 HD to 4x3 SD, courtesy of their 'digital converter' which converts digital signals to analog.

Last Saturday, 40 years after the 1969 mailing of John & Yokos Acorn Peace, Yoko mailed 123 Acorn Peace boxes to world leaders. Yay!
A week late realizing my friends at Dwell were finalists for Cooper-Hewitt design award. I'm graced with talented, hard-working pals...!
This is really creative and delightful: http://ping.fm/hBaQE

It might be the unsettled weather, but I'm feeling surly. Also, I'm going to an event related to the 25th anniversary of graduating college.

I had outgoing mail problems with one of my accounts. I fixed that. Now I can't get incoming mail on that account. Is it Monday?

Sitting in my office. I have never had an office before, inasmuch as I am renting space in an office building, and my name is on the door.

I lost my wallet last night, running to the Paramount in the rain, hurrying to see 'Notorious.' Oddly, I remember everything that's in it.
