Ever have a chunk of time where you are overwhelmed with stuff? And then, finally, you emerge, as if from underground? Yes, I see daylight.

Normally, I don't update about menus. But I am planning to eat peanut soup, macaroni, and syllabub for lunch today. I find this noteworthy.

I like surprises. You know, surprise birthday parties, that sorta thing. So, surprise, Mark! And now I get to enjoy this gorgeous view.

I'm ready for a drink. Beer, wine, cocktail. I don't care. It's still Mark's birthday! HB, Mark, wherever you are!

There was hail on the ground for hours yesterday. Hail! This is the Bay Area, frevvinsake.

Driving anywhere in this bad weather is crazy-making. Or just plain crazy. I guess I am supposed to be working at home.

Pro bono footage looks amazing! Robin always pushes the envelope - this time, shooting slo-mo on three 'portrait' cameras mounted sideways.

Today, pro bono shoot #1 for 2010. I usually aim for a handful each year, but last year there were two hands' worth. Oh well. I'm handy!
